One of my favorite record labels over the past ten years has bee Small Stone Records. You can look them up, this isn't meant to be about "the man", except that I perceive this record label to be more about "the band" and less about "the man".
Over these years, there is very little music that I haven't enjoyed from the label. To start the night, we are going to start with The Brought Low. They are from New York, you will see this from the video. I tried to see them last year in Columbus Ohio. Shamefully, after a 12 hour drive, they were a NO SHOW. While mad about that, I'm sure there was a legit reason. I still enjoyed the stay with my sister.
PS- While I do plan to choose the route, I don't plan want anyone to think that it is prepared. I will still choose whatever strikes my fancy or isn't the same ole same ole getting to the destination.

Fabulous song, not my favorite but represents this band well. Did you notice the pictures of Run DMC and the Ramones? I probably missed a couple of others too.

Limited options from the previous song, most where for The Brought Low. Never heard of this band. Its definitely different but I like it. Its not Small Stone Records for sure.

Well, this will be different. I haven't heard of this group or song either, but that is the purpose of the trip ... to learn something along the way. I have to say that I despise these "videos" that are really just the song with one image on the screen the whole time. I really like that guitar lick in the background though.

Wow, we have definitely taken a different route than I would have thought tonight. This is a fairly old song, love the intensity of the song. I think it is actually a remake from someone else, but it is the most famous of songs from Danzig. Great video showing what it is like at one of his shows though.

A little Billy Idol! Regretfully a "lyric" video, no need to watch. Still, we dont find a Small Stone band, guess we will have to try this trip again another day. Lets see what is next.....

The original shock rock master himself. This is probably his greatest selling single of all time. I don't know too much about Alice, but I do know that his stage show is amazing. Whether you like the music or not, his concerts are not to be missed. The pageantry and magic that he does on stage is simply not to be missed.
Well, I thought I might be surrounded with a series of all my personal favorites, but that was not to be tonight. Living up to the true One Click process, we took a different route but its all rock n roll and I can appreciate that!
